About Us
The idea for the Bucket List Hiking Club came to Matt Durfee (www.navexec.com) when he was making preparations to fulfill an important "bucket list" item of his own - hiking the 73-mile Hadrian's Wall path dividing northern England from the North Sea to the Irish Sea (See Hadrian's Wall 2010 tab above). Three friends committed to joining him just weeks before his departure and although none of Matt's friends knew one another prior to the hike, the adventure quickly fostered lasting friendships and the collective recognition that the hike also offered a unique, healthy and impactful opportunity to network and reflect upon career and life matters.
If you enjoy hiking but prefer village inns to camping, the Bucket List Hiking Club may be just what you need to reflect, recharge and even expand your professional network!

Perhaps due to the universal need to fulfill meaningful personal goals within our lifetimes, the club has caught the interest of several media venues in the U.S. and U.K.
